Google Level One Exam I Failed How Many Days Until I Can Take It Once Again?

The Google Certified Educator Level 1 and 2 exams drastically changed on September 1, 2021 – the scenario based questions were removed and the exam now consists of 35 multiple choice/drag and drop questions. These are the most recent materials supplied to Google Trainers by Google for Edu.

As I've mentioned a few times to those in our district Google Level 1 training course, I failed the Level 1 test the first fourth dimension that I took it. The biggest reason for my failure was not lack of noesis, although there were some parts that were challenging, but poor fourth dimension management.

In the midddle of our six calendar week district Level 1 training, my Google Level one certification entered the 2 month renewal window, and so I have merely had the opportunity to feel the test once again for myself. Equally a recertification, I only had to practice the "practical" or hands-on components and not the multiple choice, simply as I was going through the test once again, I was reminded of where I would accept/should have done things differently the get-go time through.

So here is my listing of Level ane exam tips, staying within the NDA of course. Hopefully these will help y'all, my PRSD8 cohort, as you lot gear up to write your Level i exam.

Getting Started

Incognito Window. The test will ask you to take your examination in an Incognito window. To discover such, click on the three dots/timbits on the far right side of your Chrome browser. If your device doesn't accept an incognito window, use a "New Window" and be sure yous are logged out of all other Google accounts in your other windows.

The test will remind you lot to "Pin your Tab" with the examination questions. Please do this! Alternately, if you have a double screen, put the test questions/scenarios on one screen and your Google Drive on a second screen.

Yous volition be given a Google Account for the examination. It will have its own Google Drive with pre-made documents already in it. You volition need to exist able to observe and admission these documents during the exam.

Use Your Time Wisely

My technical skills in Thousand-mail service, not my writing skills were being judged. Another 10 minutes gone instead of the 3 minutes it should have taken.
• If yous are stumped on a task, or at that place is a skill you are shaky on, mark it to "review after". This will give you an opportunity to complete the skills that you are confident in while there is time, and let y'all come back to those "shaky" tasks at the end of the test. • The pre-test questions and set up do not count as part of your exam time. When you are setting aside your 3 hours for writing the exam, be sure to include an extra 15 minutes or so for exam set up-upward procedures.
